Our mission at TMBC is to fulfill the Great Commission by turning man back to Christ through the following acts of love:
Teaching and preaching have always been the methods used by God to train his people in righteousness. It is both impossible for man to hear without a preacher and for one to preach without having been sent. The challenge is for the 21st century church to leave the elementary teachings of the Doctrine of Christ and to go on unto perfection. Hebrews 6:1
Mission work was prevalent at the inception of the Christian church and is a tremendous component of our ministry. The Bible teaches that the first church continued daily with one accord in the temple and breaking bread from house to house did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart praising God, and having favour with all people and the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. We aim to maintain an aggressively active role in the field of missions. Acts 2: 46-47
Brotherly love is one of the greatest tenants of our faith. We at TMBC believe that God expects us to feed the hungry, provide drink to the thirsty, take in the strangers of the world, clothe the naked and to visit both the sick and imprisoned. Matthew 25: 44-45
Cultural awareness is important to our community as it is our belief that man must become aware of whence he came in order to know where he’s going. As Moses communed with God he was told to tell the Israelites to obey the commandments and that they would be a peculiar treasure unto the Lord. Further they would be a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. The African American community has long suffered from having forgotten it’s true identity in God and through this lack of knowledge many of our people have perished. Through this anointed ministry of exhortation we aim to empower the men and women of God to turn back to him in these last and evil days. Exodus 19: 3-11
